Before proceeding please ensure you have the following information/documents at hand:

• Identification document (such as Drivers Licence or Proof of age card)

• EA Qualification/s

• Provide First Aid - (HLTAID011)

• Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance

• Public Liability Policy minimum $20 million cover

• Applicant head shot photo (similar to passport photo)
  

We will advise you of the outcome of your application, standard turnaround is between 14 & 28 days for a response whilst we carry out relevant checks.

All approved Independent Instructors must adhere to Centennial Parklands Independent Instructor Policy when instructing within Centennial Parklands.

All permits are issued subject to compliance with this Policy.

A non-refundable application processing fee of $220.00 (incl. GST) is required when applying for an Independent Instructors Permit (the approval is valid for one year and will expire on 30 June). The application processing fee is payable on a pro-rata basis if applying during the permit year, contact the Manager Equestrian Centre for more information.  

Payment can be made in person (at the Manager’s Office, Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre) or by calling the CPEC Office and providing your credit card details.

If the application is approved an Independent Instructor Permit Fee will be payable before the Permit will be issued.

Applications will only be considered if the Application Processing Fee, photo and supporting documents are attached to the application.

Please provide details of anticiapted lessons to be underaken.

We require proof of identification, as bookings can only be made by persons over the age of 18.

Acceptable forms of identifcation are:

• A NSW Digital Driver Licence
  

• Australian or other passport

• NSW Photo card

• Proof of age card issued by a public authority of the Commonwealth or of another State or Territory for the purpose of attesting to a person's identity and age
  

• Keypass (over-18) identity card issued by Australia Post.

To operate as a Private Instructor you are required to hold a Minimum Level 2 with Equestrian Australia with the nominations for the Areas of Expertise you wish to teach.

I understand and accept that failure to abide by the above may result in forfeiture of the Independent Instructors Permit.

I understand and accept that the Independent Instructors Permit will only be issued at the discretion of the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust (Trust) subject to receipt by the Trust of fees, certificates of insurance, proof of qualification, proof of first aid certification, completed Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance and a signed Code of Conduct Agreement as well as any other details as listed in the Application Form.

I understand and accept that this Application will need to be considered against the criteria set down by the Policy and that renewal is not automatic from year to year.
